Although, J is getting a lot of work done, it is harder to see in pictures. It is nothing like walls going up and a roof going onto a house. All the plumbing, electrical, and heating have passed inspection. The fireplace just went in today. There will be 2 more inspections and then insulation and drywall! Time to find some appliances in the next few weeks! For those interested, I will be posting our baby chicks when they arrive. We are expecting 8 girls in March. Eight girls and 1 boy in April, and then 4 more girls in May. They will leave our garage and transition to an outside coop when they are 6-8 weeks old. J will have another building project on his hands. 

This is where our refrigeration will go in the kitchen. We are looking at 2 large commercial units, one refrigerator and one freezer.

I really love our loft area. This is just one section of it. Don't you just love the look of the wood underneath. That will NOT be covered.

This has not changed much from our last posting of the roof on, except now you can see all the green shingles on the house. Field side of the house.
